Since 1664 Somerset has been famous for it's apple orchards and cider making. Blackthorn Cider and specialist producers such as Burrow Hill Cider Farm and Thatchers Cider are all Somerset based. Gerber Products Company in Bridgwater is the largest producer of fruit juices in Europe.
