Our Work - Retail Services
Martock Post Office - The house and shop date from the early C19 and made from Hamstone (the colloquial name given to stone from Ham Hill, Somerset). The honey-gold stone contains thin beds of less well cemented material and some small clay inclusions which weather differentially to give weathered Hamstone its characteristic furrowed appearance.
