Somerset boasts a varied and productive landscape. From the Mendip Hills to the north, the Somerset Levels and Moors to the centre, the Quantock Hills and Exmoor to the west including a fabulous coastline, to the rolling Blackdown Hills in the south, the landscapes offer a range of opportunities for agriculture. A rich farming heritage forms of the heart of community life in Somerset’s villages and market towns.
